Election to the occupational health and safety organisation at Aarhus University

It’s time to consider whether you want to become an occupational health and safety representative at AU. The nomination period is in December, and the election takes places in the beginning of 2018. Rector Brian Bech Nielsen encourages all employees to become involved in the election to the occupational health and safety organisation.

ST maintains room temperature at 21°C

In compliance with the energy-saving requirement, the Faculty Management Team has decided to keep the room temperature at 21°C both now and in the future, as recommended by the Danish Working Environment Authority.

Aarhus University introduces grade point averages for all science and engineering degrees

In future, students must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 7.0 on the Danish 7-point grading scale to be directly admitted via quota 1 to a degree programme at Science and Technology. The new requirement is intended to strengthen the quality of the degree programmes, reduce the dropout rate, and produce better graduates.

Playground for ideas
