Today, 21 September, AU has been informed that the current process to implement competitive tendering for public-sector consultancy, including consultancy on terrestrial nature, air and emissions, has been postponed for one year.

The Ministry's reasoning is that they want time to complete a thorough assessment of the potential benefits and risks to ensure that valuable research environments are not compromised by competitive tendering.

Vice Dean for Knowledge Exchange Kurt Nielsen and Dean Niels Christian Nielsen say that they are very pleased with the decision.
