Allocation of funds for co-financing instruments

Science and Technology (ST) has decided to support nine research infrastructures at the faculty with special funds for co-financing instruments.

At its meeting on 7 May 2015, the Faculty Management Team decided to allocate resources for strengthening ST’s research facilities. The initiative was launched in order to continue to attract strong research and business collaborations and to recruit strong and talented researchers and students.

ST has decided to support the following infrastructures:

  • Confocal microscopy system, Department of Agroecology and Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics
  • DNA clean lab, Department of Bioscience, Aarhus
  • Fourier Transform InfraRed (FT-IR), Department of Bioscience, Roskilde
  • Next Seq, Department of Environmental Science
  • MALDI ToF, Department of Food Science
  • Typhoon, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics
  • SONG, Department of Physics and Astronomy
  • Pcable, Department of Geoscience
  • Computer nodes and hardware, Department of Physics and Astronomy, etc.

ST received 16 applications altogether.
